Times tables

In Year 4, the children will need to have learnt all of their times tables in preparation for their national test in the Summer term. TT Rockstars is a brilliant way to prepare the children for this and I'd recommend they do this for at least 10 mins a day. Let me know if you don't have login details and I can resupply. 

Reading

It's really important that children keep up their reading during Year 4. It's also vital that they read across a range of genres and read at least 10-15 mins per day. Please do continue to listen to them, checking for fluency and understanding. 

Atom Prime

Every two weeks, I will set your child a maths and reading or SPAG task on Atom Prime. The children will have two weeks to complete the tasks. 

You should have received an email from the school with login details. If there are any login problems, can you please let us know? I know that the programme asks you to complete a baseline assessment, but that is not necessary.
