Our learning last week:

Last week, in literacy, we wrote our W4P diary entries. In mathematics, we finished our strand on the Four Operations. In non-core, we started our geography topic about the countries of Europe, using maps to cross-reference information and write 4-figure and 6-figure grid references. In science, we continued to learn about forces.

Our learning this week:

This week, in literacy, we will publish our diary entries and continue to focus on key grammatical and structural elements of writing to improve and address misconceptions. In mathematics, we will begin our strand on Fractions, recapping how to find equivalent fractions and how to order and compare fractions with different denominators. In non-core, we will continue our geography topic by analysing population changes over time and the push and pull factors involved. In science, we will continue to learn about forces.
